last time the tree stood!

this was the crooked pine tree that stood in the backyard till this snow hit! it broke about 5 feet up from the ground! snapped right in two! i think those "men-bugs" ate at it, and weakened it!
poor tree...over 19 yrs old! and poof gone with 17 inches of snow!

gift questions

do you have someone who is hard to find just the right gift for?
it seems when i think ive found the perfect item...they either have it already or it realy isnt right for that person.
are gift cards tacky?
how about gas gift cards?
any suggestions for that difficult person?

he's home from work for 10 days!

ok the hubby is much better now. he's sleeping better in his own bed, and seems to like being home! the doc gave him 10 days off work...now why couldn't he have like 4 more days...that would have made it christmas time! but NO! send him back just before! i told him i was gonna get a timer, and set it so he can't work long hours again! i realy don't think that will work, but it's worth the "threat"at least! lol
they didnt say anything about his diet! cept to stay on the celiac one, and eat properly. which he does most of the time
i guess now-a-days they dont tell you to stay away from spicy foods! one doc said they have found that a certain vitiamin in spicy food can actually help your ulcer heel!!! does that not sound weird!!!

just wish me luck now.....i have him home, and even if it hurts me(cant do what i normally do!!!)...im gonna enjoy him being here!

men are impossible!!!!

friday evening...well late actually! my hubby came home from work not feeling so well...
a 911 call and an ambulance trip to the ER...we find out, he has an ulcer! yes, it has been there...unknown for a while now...stress realy does hurt you!!! but fter all has been said and done...he's better now. i called him this morning, they moved him out of CCU and into a reg room. i am leaving shortley to spend (yet another!!!) day sitting at his bedside!
MEN...i just want to SCREAM!!!!! UGGGHHH!!!! not like it does any good...but it does releave my stress...thank you G/F's for the place and chance to VENT!

so DeeJ...now you know why i wasnt here to play you yesterday...or today!!! please blame the MAN in my life! lol...he's doing better thou...thats what counts right?!

ok...off to another day of sitting and crocheting my fingers off...what else is there to do!
